MRS. CHARLES BRICKMAN
Mildred ( Abbott) Brickman was born on a farm at
Storm Lake, Iowa, A p r i l 29, 1903, on a night when a l l the
apple blossoms froze J
In 1908 her family moved to a farm at Tees, east
of Lacombe and here she grew up. When she was eighteen
the family moved into Lacombe where she went to high school.
Later she attended the Olds School of Agriculture, graduating
i n 1924.
She married Roland Talbot i n 1925 and became the
