Services. Mrs. Ockley was i n v i t e d by the C i t y o f Calgary to meet the
Queen on her v i s i t . She also set up places and made arrangements
f o r Dr. Lotta Hitchmanova to have meetings and accomodation whenever
she was i n Calgary. Of course she i n v i t e d i n t e r e s t e d I n s t i t u te
members to attend these sessions.
Mrs. Ockley helps pack c l o t h i n g every Tuesday afternoon whether
she f e e l s w e l l or not. Last year Calgary U n i t a r i a n topped shipments
t o t a l l i n g 25itons; about one t h i r d of t h i s was brought i n by W. I.
branches around Calgary.
Mrs. Ockley was presented with a plaque and was honored with a
dinner at the Calgary Inn l a s t year by the Council o f C h r i s t i a ns
and Jews.
She has attended four National Conferences i n Ottawa, the l a s t
being t h i s past June.
Mrs. Ockley also works i n New Toucht Church where her son i s
the M i n i s t e r.
