MRS. GORDON LEE
Nina Shults Lee was born on a Manitoba farm. She
received her public and high school education at K i l l a r n e y,
Manitoba, and l a t e r graduated from business college i n Winnipeg.
She worked as an auditor f o r The T. Eaton Co. Ltd.
f o r over four years and then came west to Delia, Alberta,
where she held a position i n the Bank of Montreal for a period
of seven years.
After her marriage to Gordon Lee she joined the
Sentinel H i l l Women's I n s t i t u t e at Delia and served as the
branch secretary- treasurer f o r f i v e years. After the Lees
moved to Northern Alberta she joined the Boyle W. I. and served
as t h e i r president f o r seven consecutive years. In 1950
she was elected Constituency Convener of Athabasca Constituency,
a position she held f o r four years. The f i v e branches
of that constituency presented her with a L i f e Membership i n
1951, this being the t h i r d presentation i n the organization.
Mrs. Lee has taken an active interest i n other organizations
as w e l l , having been a director of the Delia Agriculture
Society, a past member of Highland Rebekah Lodge who
presented her with a Past Noble Grand's Jewel, an o f f i c i a l
auditor for the Province of Alberta f o r many years and has been
a f a i t h f u l member of the Anglican Church.
Her hobbies include music, o i l painting, a l l kinds
