Charter Members. She has served as president and secretary
of the M i l l e t Women's Institute at various times during her
membership. For two terms she served as secretary of the
Wetaskiwin Constituency. At the present time Mrs. Marr helps
i n the M i l l e t Women's Institute Library.
She has taken an active part i n the Women's Work Committee
of the l o c a l Red Cross and has been active i n many
community projects. For many years Mrs. Marr assisted with
the H i l l s i d e Sunday School, acting as janitor. She i s a member
of the Anglican Church.
She has been a quiet w i l l i n g worker whom the Institute
could count upon to do more than her share. To show t h e ir
appreciation of her continued and outstanding service, the
M i l l e t Women's Institute presented her with a L i f e Membership
i n the Alberta Women's Institute i n August 1954.
