Secretary several years later when Mrs. Ethel Robertson served her
term as Constituency Convenor.
She has always taken the topic of United Nations which nobody
f e l t qualified to handle. At one time United Nations was called
" Canadianization" because of a l l the immigrants coming to Canada at
that time.
Dorothy Hosegood has been a member of the Women's Institute f or
over 50 years and i s proud of the fact that she i s the second generation
of the Hosegoods to be presented with a" Life Membership" to
the Alberta Women's Institute". She i s a source of information with
regards to the organization , due to her long association with the
Women's Institute.
Dorothy married Harvey Hosegood and they raised a family of
three daughters and they have seven grandchildren.
She i s an i n s p i r a t i o n to her fellow members and her guidance i s
appreciated and valued. Rugby W. I. presented her with a " Life
Membership" i n recognition of her dedicated and f a i t h f u l service
for " Home and Country".
