MISS CHRISTINA McINTYRE
Miss C h r i s t i n a Mclntyre was horn at South Mountain,
Ontario, i n the St. Lawrence V a l l e y . She attended p u b l ic
school at 3. S. No. 5 Mountain, and h i g h school i n K e m p t v i l l e .
She took teacher's t r a i n i n g a, t Regina Normal School and
taught f o r three years i n Saskatchewan. She attended Mac-donald
I n s t i t u t e i n Guelph, graduating i n Home Economics i n
1917- In 1919 she i n t e r n e d as a d i e t i t i a n at the E o y a l V i c t
o r i a H o s p i t a l i n Montreal and l a t e r took post graduate work
at Oregon State College at C o r v a l l i s . In 1920 she came t o
A l b e r t a t o teach Home Economics at the Schools of A g r i c u l t u re
at Claresholm and Olds, r e t i r i n g from the O. S. A. i n 1951.
Since her retirement she has spent three summers on the s t a ff
as d i e t i t i a n at the V e r m i l i o n School and enjoyed i t g r e a t l y.
