MRS. E. T. MOE
Mrs. E. ' T. Moe was born i n Minnesota on August 9,
1885, the eldest daughter of George and Ida Schaefer. She
graduated from public and high school i n that state and
then took her teacher's t r a i n i n g . She taught for seven
years before her marriage to E. T. Moe i n 1912. The Moes
have l i v e d at Langdon, Alberta, a l l of t h e i r married l i f e.
They are the parents of two children: Katherine of Red Deer
and Kermit who l i v e s on a farm at Langdon.
Mrs. Moe has established something of a record f or
branch secretaries as she has acted as the secretary of
Langdon W. I. f o r thirty- two years. She helped to organize
the branch i n 1920 and has held the o f f i c e of branch president
as w e l l as her long term of service as secretary.
She never misses a meeting, even walking the two and one half
miles from her farm home when the roads are too muddy. Mrs.
Moe Is a member of the United Church and the Woman's Associ
a t i o n.
