MRS. EVELYN GEBERS
Evelyn Amanda Hansen, daughter o f Andrew and Mary Hansen was born
November 9, I9O6 i n C l a r k f i e l d , Minnesota. She married Arthur Henry
Gebers on January 16, 1929 and l i v e d i n C l a r k f i e l d for ten years
before coming t o A l b e r t a .
Evelyn has been involved with W. I. work f o r 38 continuous years,
j o i n i n g i n 19^ 1. She has held a l l o f f i c e s at Branch l e v e l and has
served on many Standing Committees. Through the years she has attended
several Constituency, D i s t r i c t and P r o v i n c i a l Conferences.
* Through the years she has a s s i s t e d i n making q u i l t s f o r the Fed
Cross; gathered wool materials to be made into blankets; helped with
c a t e r i n g at farm sales and Community functions as w e l l as canvas f or
Cancer. Evelyn capably convened the program f o r the Mountain View 50th
