The last boat crash, he said, happened in the middle of the lake and sent a passenger to hospital " with multiple fractures". That mishap, he said, involved a 15- year-old boy who was operating an 85- horsepower craft. Mr. Beckingsale urged council to pass and enforce regulations licensing all boats and operators, restricting licences to persons 18 years of age and over who have passed tests on aquatic traffic safety, fix a speed limit for all boats, or restrict horsepower, and order more police patrols of the lake on weekends. As to licensing, registration county employees, m t uyww also stipulates that such information may be given only to the land owner or a purchaser of the land involved in the search. Pine Glen Recreation Board was authorized to act for the recreation needs of 400 people living in that part of the county adjacent to the Elnora Recreation District. With approval of Pine Glen boundaries, the board also was granted $ 400. Similarly, Red Deer Rural East Recreation Area had its boundaries defined as east of Highway 2 and south of the Red Deer River. Since the area has not submitted a budget, no per capita grant allocated its 849 persons.
