Uppermost of the March 25 agenda of the Representatives Meeting was the May 3 Constituency Conference. Theme of the event is Upswing with Media. Hosting branch of the conference, this time, is Lacombe WI who have invited speakers Morris Flewwelling, director of the Red Deer Museum and Archives and Pat Smith of Shaw Cable. The conference will see registration at 8: 30 a. m., call to order at 9: 30 a. m. Handicraft awards will be presented at 1 p. m. C/ C Trudy Carson expects to hear how many are on the way from each branch so the lunch order can accommodate those attending. Each branch is also responsible for memorial and rose of their own members. These were the constituency convener's jottings, from the March 25 meeting in the Red Deer Museum: Old business: 83 cookie plates for Meals on Wheels were made up at Christmas. Thanks to all branches for donating cookies, the effort being managed by Marilyn Wattenberger, Jeanne Harrison, Florence Ruttan and Leah Carson. New business: Please send list of 1991 executives, members, con-venerships and phone numbers to the C/ C, with the April branch meeting reports. Discuss setting a deadline for sending reports to constituency education conveners, preferably Nov. 30, each year. Gayle Olsen reported two ladies from Nicaragua will be in Olds, April 3L A pot luck supper will be held at Olds United Church Hall, 4810- 50 Street, at 5: 30 p. m. Everyone is welcome, and please let Marion Brown, 886- 4892, know your plans for this, by April 15. Handicraft Display and Tea • All color handicraft tags will be accepted; • Handicraft conveners from each ! branch should help on judging day, April 18, along with one other member; • Articles to be at Museum, by 8 a. m., April 18; • Wednesday evening, April 17, Blackfalds branch, Trudy Carson and Alice Murray to set up tables and drapes; ! • Thursday, April 18, two members per branch needed from Lacombe, Penhold, Hillsdown for recording and other arrangements while Pine Lake, Ridge wood and Balmoral take care of displays. Springvale and Blackfalds prepare lunch. Branches are requested to make and put up two posters advertising the Handicraft Tea scheduled for 2 p. m., April 20. In addition, each branch is asked to bring two card tables, cloths, centre pieces of WI cup and saucers with flowers; two large loaves of fancy sandwiches; 1, 9x13 in. pan of squares. Fashion Show begins at 2 p. m. Ridge wood and Springvale handle admission from 2- 3 p. m., Pine Lake and Lacombe, 3- 4 p. m. Head table pourers from 2- 3 p. m. are Blackfalds and Balmoral, followed by Lacombe and Pine Lake, 3- 4 p. m. Ridgewood and Hillsdown are in the kitchen 12: 45- 2 p. m., Pen-hold and Springvale, 2- 3 p. m., and Pine Lake and Blackfalds, 3- 4 p. m. Table service is Springvale and Penhold, 2- 3 p. m., Lacombe and Pine Lake, 3- 4 p. m. Dishwashing, Balmoral and Blackfalds, 2: 15- 3 p. m., Ridgewood and Hillsdown, 3- 4 p. m. One person from each branch is needed for the cleanup which should be complete by 5 p. m. These are the current branch reports.
