M o n e y has been raised b y n o v e l t y and masquerade dances, bazaars, food sales, concerts whist drives. F o u r of t h e I n s t i t u t e s h a v e e n t e r t a i n e d t h e i r sister I n s t i t u t e s . Music a n d a c t i ng have e n l i v e n e d the m o n t h l y programmes. D u r i n g the m o n t h of O c t o b e r six C o n ferences were held a n d the delegates were r o y a l l y e n t e r t a i n e d b y the local branch. T h e success of C o n s t i t u e n c y Conferences is l a r g e l y due to the s p l e n d i d w o r k of the C o n v e n e r s . Addresses were g i v e n on the Referendum. M a c g r e g o r S m i t h , E d m o n t o n , reports the promptness w i t h w h i c h the i n t e r e s t i ng r e p o r t s have been sent, p a r t i c u l a r l y F o i t S a s k a t c h e w a n and Pine Creek. F r om t h e smallest I n s t i t u t e ( Shakespeare) comes the t h o u g h t w h i c h s h o i d d be an example t o a l l .
