REDA Co- Operative Youth Program is once again being held at Goldeye Centre, Nordegg and Alberta Women's Institutes will sponsor a Girl's Club member to attend. Nominations or applications are being received at the office for the 13 - 14 year old camp being held on either July 1 - 7; 20 - 16; 26 - Aug. 1 or August 7- 13. Revised Alberta Women's Institutes Policy Book should be available for branches at Convention. The policies of our organization have been reviewed, and compiled in an easy to use booklet. Each branch will receive one book with others being available at a nominal cost. Watch for information on how to obtain your copy. As policy changes in the future, a copy of the new policy will be issued to branches to replace the outdated policy page. Hopefully this will keep all members informed If you had to pack a survival bag, what are the most important items you would take? 1. Toothpick - to remind you to pick out the good qualitites in others. 2. Rubber Band - to remind you to be flexible; things might not always go the way you want, but it will work out. 3. Band Aid - to remind you to heal hurt feelings; yours or someone else's. 4. Eraser - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it's ok as well. 5. Pencil - to remind you to list your blessings everyday. 6. Chewing Gum - to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything. 7. Mint - to remind you that you are worth a mint. 8. Candy Kiss - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday. 9. Tea Bag - to remind you to relax daily and reflect on all the positive things in your life. Wishing you all a happy Easter Celebration. Remember, spring brings all the newness that we look forward to all winter long. Rejoice in all that is new around you.
