Christmas Greetvrxgs faom Australia, We trwst that all is
Well with yOU. We a/ re fane, getting older and slower, but

We Wave experienced, another very dry yea/ r on, the ^ arm,
the droughts just seem, to follow on yea/ r afaer year. It tends to
make u. s think, " how mw: h longer can we last out". But we
always have the hope that good rayi/ n will fall soon, to • fill the
dams and make the creehs ru/ n agaA/ n,, they have been hone
dry ^- or years.
The world scene - is not very good, is it. There is not
much joy in listening to the news any more, We trwst that
things will settle down in the new year. Wouldn't it be great
if the Christ/ mas message had an effect on more people.
s& en,, Andrew and wife Christine have sold their horns and
a/ re living in a tented house - for a - few months, while their
new home - ts being built. They have purchased a block of
ground vn Clifton, and are waiU/ ng on the builders.
doM^ bkf^ rx/ r^' s a/ nc^ Michael and girls are fane and a/ re cwrrently
holidaAji/ ng at the coast.
AAy elderly father passed away early in May, he was %
years of age. We miss him,, but we give thanks - for his long
and ha/ ppu life. It was only over the last couple of yea/ rs that
his health slipped. My M^ um had moved into the Nwrsing
Home to be with him at the last, she has remained there to be
cared ^ or. She has just had cataract surgery and it seems to
be successful.
Dwring the year I went to the Needlework and Owdting
Show in Brisbane, there are so rna/ ny beawtifad, things to do
and so many gifted and talented people. Ciraham- a/ nd I also
went on a bus trip to the Gatton area and had a mof
enjoyable day. 1 celebrated my bOtl% Birthday tV
think it's a good time to do a little tripping
