t h e t h r e e day FWIC m e e t i n g . W i t h g r a n t f u n d i n g cut or r e m o v e d,
t h e F e d e r a t e d b o d y is e x p e r i e n c i n g f i s c a l r e s t r a i n t . FWIC is u r g i
ng m e m b e r s a c r o s s C a n a d a t o " u s e your t a l e n t s a n d your g i f ts
t o g i v e FWIC a lift." H a v e f u n d o i n g a f u n d raiser for FWIC. The
v o l u n t a r y $ 1 . 0 0 per m e m b e r per year is still in e f f e c t . To cover
c o s t s of p u b l i s h i n g , t h e Federated News i n d i v i d u a l s u b s c r i p t i on
has b e e n r a i s e d t o $ 5 . 0 0 per year, 10 or m o r e c o p i e s t o o n e a d dress
at $ 4 . 0 0 per s u b s c r i p t i o n per year.

t e a d m e a n t o y o u ? T h e F e d e r a t e d W o m e n s ' I n s t i t u t e s of C a n a da

t h e h o u s e w a s d e c l a r e d a H e r i t a g e Home. At o n e t i m e , a grant
w a s a v a i l a b l e for the H o m e u p k e e p . T h i s has g o n e by t h e ways
i d e but t h e e x e c u t i v e is w o r k i n g o n o b t a i n i n g h e l p for m a j o r i m p
r o v e m e n t s t o e l e c t r i c a l , p l u m b i n g , r o o f i n g and w i n d o w s , etc.

President Faye M a y b e r r y felt t h e R e v i t a l i z a t i o n Paper h a d a c h i e v ed
its goal of h a v i n g m e m b e r s t a l k i n g a n d e x e c u t i v e l i s t e n i n g . The
reply p a p e r s have b e e n r e t u r n e d t o t h e P r o v i n c i a l E x e c u t i v e s a n d ,
it is h o p e d , f u r t h e r d i r e c t i o n f r om t h e p r o v i n c e s will b e f o r t h c o m i
n g . This p r o i e c t has a l s o g i v e n d i r e c t i o n for t h e L i t e r a c y pro| ect
p r o p o s e d Phase 3, Computer Buddies, for t h o s e w h o w i s h to
