ELEANOR ALICE BERRY
Eleanor Roberts was bom November 20,1931 in Vancouver B. C. and resided there as a child.
She moved to Vernon at age 18 and resided there until her retirement and move to Stettler in
1994.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents John annd Dessie Roberts and her second husband Harry.
She is survived by two daughters, Lois ( Dale) Kennedy of Alix, and daughter Cathy ( Jim) smith
of Stettler, her first husband George Felker of Vernon,, numerous grandchildren, three sisters
and many other relatives and friends.. Eleanor was a lifetime member of order of Eastern Star as
well as a member of the Botha Women's Institute. She was an ardent member, she came to
meetings even when she had to carry her oxygen tank with her and enjoyed her years of
involvment as a W. I. member. She lived life to the fullest day by day. Her move to Heart Haven
in Stettler was a happy time for her as there she could visit with so many friends in one day. She
was always cheerful even though in pain and will be sadly missed by Botha Women's Institute as
well as her many relatives and friends. Funeral services for Eleanor were held on Saturday
September 23, 2000 at the Botha United Church. A tribute was written by her daughters and
presented by Rev. Garth Bogart. Pallbears werre her Grandchildren. Interment at Lake View
Cemetery Stettler Alberta.
