BERG
Mrs. Elsie Barbara Berg ( nee
A l d e r m a n ) of L o u s a n a,
p a s s e d away at the Red
Deer Regional Hospital, on
Monday, June 25, 2001 at the
age of 78 years. Elsie was
born in Calgary on February
22, 1923, to Robert and
Florence Alderman. She was
a " city girl" who became a
" country woman" when she
m a r r i e d Bud Berg f r om
Lousana, on August 8, 1947.
They were together for forty-six
years. Elsie was very
Involved In the community,
b o t h during and after her
teaching career of thirty- four
years. The simple pleasures
of life: t h e c o m p a n y of friends,
community gatherings, ana a
g a r d e n f i l l e d w i t h f r e sh
vegetables or vibrant flowers,
were important to her. Elsie
f o u n d the good in everyone
and was forever the optimist.
She took great pride and joy
In her family. Elsie is survived
by her daughter AliceJMike)_
