Bernlce wai born July 3, 1913 to Gec& ge and Abigail Payne oh Botha.
She married Lloyd ( Bretenlee November. 1 0, 1 940 and together they ralied
hive children, they lived on their ' arm north o< J Botha all her 11' e.
Bernlce paned away February 25, 2001 at the age o' 87 yean. She Li
iurvlved by her huiband Lloyd and her ioni Graeme, Gary and Tim, and
daughten Carole and Gloria. Bernlce wai a great ' amity peuon and
loved to cook ' or large ' amlly gatherlngi. She wai active In the
community helping with the Curling club, the Senlour'i centre ai well
ai a chkrter member o£ the Botha Women'i In i t l t u t e.
Bernlce held all executive poitltlom In her W . I . at varloui tlmei and
wai alwayi there to help with every project her group had. She wai
alwayi buiy with bake ialei, garage ialei, and the Grandmother'i annual
Tea ipamoted each year by the Botha W . I . She and her i l i t e r Dorothy
were catetaken ' or many yean oh the Botha cemetery. She wai an avid
card player and loved the regular 500 card partlei or court whlit.
Bernlce Invited Andrea van Landult to join the Botha W. l. and the
branch benefited ' or many yean by Andreai participation. Bernlce
will be iadly mined by her many ' rlendi but eipeclally by the Botha
Women'i Jnitltute.
