I. 4. Scrapbook — Jackson W. I. The Histories and the Scrapbooks were judged by Mrs. A. H. Rogers and she urged all Branches to compile a record of their happenings and achievements. SPEAKERS: MRS. NORMAN HEWITT — a lawyer and barrister spoke on wills and estate planning. ( Since then she has spoken to many groups throughout Alberta and conducted Short Courses). MRS. E. J. ROYLANCE — F. W. I. C. President spoke on the expected changes in our organization and how to capitalize on them. DR. GORDON HIRABOYASHI — Department of Sociology & Philosophy " Our Canadian Indian Study". How can our values and thinking be changed so that Canadian Indians are accepted by whites and themselves as they are?" MISS LOUISE TADIKER — Co- Ordinator of Women's Activities for National Highway Safety Council. " Safety on the Roads" dominate the machine instead of it dominating us or it will destroy us. It is in our hands. DR. NANCY ADAMS— Area Vice President of ACWW spoke on her recent visit to the Carribean — " If we are to build Friendship around the World, we must give up thinking we have to have". MRS. ETHEL MARLISS — C. A. C. along with two other speakers gave timely tips on insurance and gimmicks of salepeople.
