I biennial Report Book has adopted a new format. The content has not been changed; included herein are accounts of the activities, the accomplishments, and the projects, as well as a listing of the varied topics studied for the past two years by the Alberta Women's Institutes. This report is a source of information as well as guide for individual members and officers alike. The Standing Committee Chairmen have suggested topics for future study. Refer to the book often - it is a valuable reference. Due to A. W. I, hosting the Federated Convention in Banff in 1973, our Convention was a " mini" one lasting only half a day. Thus, the minutes only include was transpired during the morning session. It was decided that a full- time Convention would be held at the Olds College dn 1974 . During the next two years we must channel our programming to meet today's needs of women in a rapidly changing society. Institute members are encouraged to become more actively involved in programs offered by the Department of Extension re: Nutrition, Consumer Education, and Family Living. My slogan for my two year term is: Action, Growth and Involvement. We must work together for " Home and Country", so our Organization can be recognized as a progressive one.
