Over the years Olive was: - Ma- Me- O Constituency Handicraft Convener - 4 years - 1967/ 1971 - Ma- Me- 0 Constituency Convener - 4 years - 1971/ 1975 - District 3 Director for AWI - 3 years - 1983/ 1986 - Environmental Public Advisory Council representing Alberta Women's Institutes - 6 years - 1987/ 1993 - Ma- Me- O/ Leduc Constituency Convener - 3 years - 1993/ 1996 - Recycling Council representing the Alberta Women's Institutes - 3 years - 1993/ 1996 - Ma- Me- O/ Leduc/ Wetaskiwin Constituency Convener - 2 years - 2001/ 2003 - A voting delegate from Alberta representing Alberta Women's Institutes in Killarney, Ireland at the A. C. W. W. Convention in 1986. - Attended A. C. W. W. Conventions in Vancouver, B. C.; Killarney, Ireland; Kansas City, U. S. A. and The Hague, Netherlands. - Attended F. W. I. C. Conventions in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Charletowne, P. E. I.; Vancouver, B. C.; London, Ontario; Truro, Nova Scotia; Brandon, Manitoba and Hamilton, Ontario. - Sang in the choir at the Conventions in London, Ontario; Truro, Nova Scotia; Brandon, Manitoba, Vancouver, B. C. and in Hamilton, Ontario - Since 1986 to the present date has been the Treasurer of the Falun Women's Institute. Olive has won the Handicraft Plaque eleven times on Constituency level for first place. On Provincial level has won the Alberta Women's Institutes Competition Award three times and received certificates, and in 2003 received the Plaque for the Myrtle Heyer Doily Award. One of the Olive's greatest accomplishments in life is to keep active and knowledgeable and to be involved. She has found this in being a member of the Alberta Women's Institutes, the Church and Falun community.
