It is good to see that the A,W,LG.C, is living up to its aim and includes gLls of all nationalities.
The THIRTY-SECOND ;wnlwl convention of the A,W,LG,C, W;15 held in Olds in July 1P52 with Mrs. L D, liandley, supervisor in charge, Her assistant was Nil'S, B. G. Nobn, of Picture Butte. The usual awarding of prizes was a and l\Irs, McGorman, A.W.L President made the suggestion that Boys' Clubs should not be encouraged under the \"1.1., but that they should be handled and supported by men's organizations. lVIany A.'.\'.1. Girls' Clubs are taking 4-H Club projects and in 1952 the \V.I. Girls' Club taking the 4-H clothing project won first prize in the Dominion Competition at the Toronto Royal Fair. It was the Ohaton Jolly Junior 4-H Clothing Club. Membership in the AW.1.G.C. \,,'as reported to be L380 and there wer(~ 92 clubs. The THIRTY-THIRD ,\.NJ'-!U/;.L CONVENTION was held at Olds in July 1953 with lVII's. L, D. Handley, supervisor, and her assistant, lVII's, B. G. Nolan in charge. A fJfty-dollar scholarship is to be awarded annually to a member or a former member of the A.\V.I.G.C. toward her university education. The iirst \vinner of this scholarship given by the provincial A.W.I. Girls' Clubs, \vas Atldrey Chaba, of Redwater, who entered the fall term at the universi"\ to take home economics. lVII's. S. Lefsrud, the newly elected A.W.I.. president visited the COllvention and gave the girls great help and encouragement. At this convention the clubs adopted a "Fbg Salute" and asked the A,'y'\-T.L branches to accept it. The salute was, "I salute the flag, the emblem of our country, and to her I pledge my love and loyalty". It was also decided that all W,I,G.C. crests be worn on the left side of the blouse. Helen and Viola Howard, of Munson \\7.1.G,C. and 4-H Clothin[; Club were winners in the 195:3 Club Competiiion at the Toronto Royal . Winter Fair. The THIRTY-FOURTH ANI\'UAL A,W.I.G,c. CONVENTION was held in Olds in July 1954 with 1\1rs. L. D. Hand, supervisor and her assistant, lVII's. B. G. Nolan in charge. The Provincial Travel Fund had grown and made it possible for several delegates and supervisors from distant places to attend. TLree 0 f the A. \V. I. district directors--Mrs. D. J, Hayden, Mrs. W. Ford, and Mrs. \\" J. Tait---attended 1he convention and gave helpful dch;jce and assistance. One of the hi'Jltlights was the demonstration by Heie!l and Viola Hovvard--,the 195:3 winners at the Toronto Rov;ll Fair. The clothin[~ demonstration was ,
