Other Competitions-The South Australia Country Women magazine, ran an essay contest, "How I Would Increase Membership in a Branch, and Change Disinterested Members Into Active Ones." As they stated, this requires knowledge of meetings, psychology of women and attractive ideas. It was to be not less than 200 words and a deadline was set. The writing was to be in explanatory essay form and not a set of numbered points.
