and participate in during our Cen-tennial
Festival this year, the lOOth
birthday of our great country, Ca­nada.
The place, of course, is Toronto,
the three main places of in-terest
being Don Hall, Tarmola
and Monarch Park CoUegiate.

will \veIcome yoii all at the Cen-tennial
Welcoming Dance at the
Don Hall, 957 Broadvievv Ave, on
Friday. Aug. 4th at 9 Bells.
During this dance we \vill see
the erowning of the Festival Queen
and present the princesses «•Iso —
SO this is reason enough for.all to
make haste and get here early on
Friday. Admission only $1.00. Helga
and her commitlee will be on hand
to handle any billeting probiems
you may have.
A good nighfs-sleep and ali will
congregate to Tarmola eai-ly Satur-day
morning \vhere the track and
field eventj will start the day. The
afternoon program wiil be pre-sentcd
hc-a with a special num-ber
by ali the children in a trib-ute
to Canada's birthday. Ribbons
for the whole day only $1.00.
The evening will be very busy
with 2 points of interest. The dra-imatic

the Festival Dance, the Manninen
orchestra supplying the music. To

ja taloudellisen kehityksen rahoit­tamiseksi.
Muitkikkaunpiin kysymyksiin
kuuiau Rain&kan ja sen viiden yh-teismarkkiniakumppanin
vaatimus,
että lMF:n äänestysjäi-jestelmää on
muutettava siten, että kuutosmaille
tulee veto-oikeus kalkkien uusien
lainakiintiösuunnitelmien ja mah­dollisten
kansainvälisten valuutta­uudistusten
toteuttamista vastaan.
Ranskan valtiovarainministeri Mi­chel
Debre toisti tämän näkökannan
maanantaina saavuttuaan Lontoo­seen.
